Acanthoscelides obtectus

The body of the beetle is prolonged oval, covered with yellow-green hairs.

The body length reaches up to 5 mm.

The larvae eats through the grain reaching to its core.

It eats the grain under the form of a perfect circle and then it leaves it.

In storage and kitchen facilities it multiplies throughout the year and gives birth to 4-6 generations.
