Trogoderma granariums

 

One of the most dangerous species attacking wheat cultures.

Damaging seeds of wheat, barley, corn, rice, peanuts, cotton, beans, peppers, tomatoes and dough products.

Among the damaged products have a large amount of larval cuticle.

The fastest development occurs at 30-35 C and the lower limit is 8 C.

At low temperature and reduced humidity larvae hiding in cracks and fall into diapause and can withstand hunger 4 years.
